Go in, point at some stuff, pay and enjoy. There are multiple display cases with tons of different pan dulce to choose from. Like an authentic panaderia basically no labels (well, there technically were, but most were worn out) or prices on anything. We got five pastries, including a piedras, concha, besos, and some others I don't really know the names of. $6.80 total. All delicious. Note: The pastries don't seem to be self serve anymore like some of the other reviews state.

I love this bakery I have been going there for years from London Ontario Canada is very good bakery until now that I was enjoying a cup of coffee when I bité a eggs shell that very disgusting for me please be more careful when cracking up the eggs.

So much goodness for an amazing price - This is where I come if I'm going to someone's house and want a large gift for a variety of tastes- The humongous cookies are my favorite and there is a variety to choose from but if you're bringing this as a gift, throw in one of every kind of small cake- you'll leave with multiple bags for under $10!

This is one of my favorite bakeries. They have delicious cookies and the bolillos are the best (not to mention reasonably priced). The people are friendly and helpful too. We've ordered quite a few birthday cakes and they always turn out great.

Double Chocolate cookies are the best cookies on earth! They are only 80 cents each plus they are huge

Chilango's is both a 'Panaderia y Pasteleria' - Bakery & Pastry shop - and they serve up a HUGE variety of Mexican baked goods! Chilango's has been here for years, and it's a great bakery to visit next time you're heading back from Cafe con Leche (just down the street) or picking up some dessert after a visit from a local taqueria. This family owned bakery makes a variety of homemade breads (including Pan Dulce), pastries, and other baked goods that are tasty and def worth trying. Walking in you're immediately taken a back at the seemingly never ending selection of baked goods in the looooooong display case on the left, the freshly baked goods cooling off on the nearby drying racks, and the assortment of breads near the counter. The pastries are self-serve so you're going to a.) grab a tray b.) get some wax paper c.) start piling on the sweets! Just a couple side notes: 1. ALL of the pastries are labeled in Spanish. If you got any questions, don't be afraid to ask. 2. Portion sizes are humongous. 3. The pastries are not overly sweet, just enough sugar/icing, and very tasty. 4. Prices are very reasonable (about $0.50 - $1 per baked good). Chilango's is still unexplored territory to many, it's def not commercialized, and it has that small town Mom and Pop feel that'll keep you coming back! =) ********************************* $ CASH ONLY $ *********************************
